Before joining JANA, David worked as a Principal, Senior Investment Consultant at Mercer Investments responsible for consulting to large institutional investors across various client segments including superannuation, endowments & foundations, insurance and government in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to Mercer, David worked at Lonsec Investment Solutions as a Senior Investment Consultant with a focus on managed accounts and consulting to financial advice groups.

Jackie is the Director of Education, Engagement, and Events at Colonial First State, having been in this role for over six years. With extensive experience in both education and financial services, Jackie brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the team.
Her passion for financial literacy and education has been a driving force throughout her career. After working in the financial planning sector for over 15 years, Jackie retrained as an economics and business studies teacher in 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, a Diploma of Financial Planning, and an Adult and Secondary School Teaching degree.
In her current role, Jackie leverages her expertise to enhance the educational programs at Colonial First State. One of her key responsibilities is CFS 10x, an adviser-led program focused on helping advice businesses solve business challenges. More recently, 10x partnered with Microsoft and together launched an AI workshop focused on the financial planning industry.
Following the success and huge demand for these sessions, 10x ran a follow up series of masterclasses. Jackie is excited is excited to share her experiences and insights on how AI can be effectively used within a financial planning business to drive better outcomes and enhance client engagement.

He previously held the role of Head of Asset Allocation at UBS Global Asset Management in Australia and Global Head of Asset Allocation and Investment Strategy at Aberdeen Asset Managers in London.

Martin has 34 years of Financial Services experience, joining the industry as a trainee Business Development Manager in London.
Passionate about the industry, Martin has since that time held senior roles in Distribution, AFSL Management, has non-executive Director experience and in recent years was a Director of Praemium, Australia, leading the company’s Sales and Marketing Divisions as a member of their Executive team. He has also spent time working within advice businesses, including his own, and held the CEO role of an SMSF administration and technology business. This experience has allowed Martin to build his knowledge and expertise in client engagement and strategic planning and working with financial advisers to build engaged and profitable clients.
Immigrating to Australia in 2000, Martin has, and always, challenges his knowledge and experience and searches for new ways to learn and add value. As such, he has undertaken his MBA, is a graduate of the Australian Company Directors Course and is a certified Behavioural Sales Coach through the US based Management Research Group.

His experience in the wider investments market is extensive and his advice and experience is frequently sought after for his breadth and detail, plus his knowledge of the people in the industry.

Jenny Phimleut

Jenny manages IMAP's program of conference events, webinars and publication, and liaises with sponsors, speakers
